Oatmeal: Oat Turrone


  • 2 mugs of oatmeal
  • 1 1/2 mugs of sugar
  • 9 tablespoons of cocoa
  • 200 gr. of butter
  • 9 tablespoons of “dulce de leche”
  • Vanilla essence
  • 150 gr. of peanuts or walnuts
  • 200 gr. of opera biscuits


Place the Oatmeal, butter and sugar over moderate heat. Add the cocoa, milk and spray with Vanilla Essence. Cook until it thickens (2 to 3 mins). Remove from heat and add the walnuts/peanuts. Place the operas in a rectangular mold. Spoon a coat of the mixture over the operas and finish with another coat of the oatmeal mixture. Put in the fridge for two hours and serve.
