Ingredients:
- 11/2 mugs of Split Peas
- 2 leeks
- 4 tablespoons of grated cheese
- 2 eggs
- Breadcrumbs
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Oil
- Tomato sauce
Preparation:
Boil the Split Peas in abundant water. Once cooked add in the leeks, 1 egg and salt and pepper to taste. Add the cheese and form balls, adding breadcrumbs if necessary. Then coat in beaten egg and breadcrumbs. Fry in hot oil and serve with tomato sauce.
